Poulter, Steve (1995)

I am still with Rockwell Automation, now in my 14th yearafter graduating in the summer of 1995. I spent the last 12 years in central Georgia and worked my way up to Manufacturing Engineering Manager in a plant with about 400 employees. I most recently relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Rockwell and took a position as Project Manager in the Manufacturing Strategy group of Operations. We are trying to keep up with the global growth of Rockwell by placing manufacturing close to our customers.

It was hard moving from Georgia to Wisconsin, we have had several feet of snow so far this winter, and getting use to that the again has been a challenge. My wife, Jennifer and I have three little ones now: Nate(9), Faith(6), and Benjamin(3).

Project Manager, Operations and Engineering Services, Rockwell Automation, 1201 Milwaukee, WI

Shah, Ankit (2007)

Congratulations to everybody at IMSE for completeing 25 fine years. I am missing Raleigh and NCSU days. I was working in Chicago with a consulting firm. I moved back to Bombay, India last month and have joined my dad in his business. I am getting married in December. So I felt it would be a good time to move back here to be with my family and fiance.

My study and work experience in the US is really helping me in our business. We manufacture washroom products like automatic taps and auto flushing systems. Our website is www.askonengineers.com. Our company name is Askon. The website is a little outdated. Trying to redesign it at the moment.

Smiley, Mark (2006)

I'm living in Plan, TX, now, got a house a while back and still work at Texas Instruments. They did some layoffs, but my job was not in question at all it seemed. I started and continue to be the Equipment engineer for photolithography equipment, specifically Photo Resist and developer Tracks in two Fabs. So I'm in charge of apparently every aspect of keeping the machines working, projects, cost, and so forth. After the layoffs, I have now been given Process level ownership for one of the processes in the factory, which is a while new ball game for me. TI still makes chips and it's a bit of high pressure environment, but some weeks like this one are good at least.

Personally, Katie (my now fiance) and I are on a Performace Swing Dance Team, and I'm a new board member of the Dallas Swing Dance Society: http://www.dsds.org. So swing dancing is our main hobby still. Katie is the girl I met in Phoenix at my IMSE internship at Intel. She and I met at a social dance. We think we might be getting married June 2010 but want to pick the venue before we pick the date.

Recently we went on a 3 week tour of Europe including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, and Greece. We are hoping to either go to Egypt on our honeymoon or sooner. We are getting more established socially, mostly because of dance and being really active members of the dance community here.
