New Offices for the IMSE Institute
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008
Over the the last couple of years, NC State University, particularly North Campus, has been playing musical buildings. Old buildings were renovated and departments moved out and then back in. After almost 25 years in Broughton Hall, the IMSE Institute finally packed up and moved "up" the street to 311 Daniels Hall (old electrical engineering building). On the morning of April 23, 2007, movers showed up and had us moved in just about two hours! We even have our own conference room (311A) and once again, our students have their own office, which is large and user friendly (unlike what we had before!). You may wish to check out NCSU's home page (www.ncsu.edu), and track all the changes in the campus relocations.
So if you are ever in the neighborhood, please stop by! We are one flight up from the street level (3rd floor) in 311 Daniels. We are also just down the hall from the International Student Offices, which makes it very convenient when we encountered situations with our students from India, China, Venezuela, and other countries.
We are fortunate as well to be in the same building as Industrial and Systems Engineering, who host many of our courses. Dr. Hodgson, our director, is also down the hall in 301 Daniels.
