Curriculum and Degree Requirements
The IMSE Institute coordinates a Master of Integrated Manufacturing Systems (IMS) degree program. The academic focus of this degree consists of a multi-disciplinary selection of courses offered by the departments of Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Science, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Textile (Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science and Technology Management).
The degree program provides flexibility intended to meet the manufacturing system needs of industry and the interest of students. The goal of the program is to provide the academic background essential to the understanding and implementation of computer integrated manufacturing systems. The IMSE degree program does not include specified major and minor areas of study as normally found in classical master’s degree programs.
