The Connect NC Bond Brings $160 Million to NC State

On March 15, North Carolinians voted to pass a bond referendum — the Connect NC bond — that has the potential to transform the state through critical investments in the university and community college systems, the National Guard, state parks, and water and sewer systems.

Two-thirds of the Connect NC bond will fund critical improvements in higher education, with $160 million going to NC State to support agriculture and engineering, two critical drivers of economic development and jobs across North Carolina. Those and other projects funded by the $2 billion are coming with no tax increase for the state’s citizens.
