As a mechanical engineer with experience in the manufacturing and assembly sector, Akash Neelesh Patharkar has honed a deep understanding of cross-platform web development using Ignition SCADA. Internship Details
During his internship at WestRock as a production planning co-op, Patharkar managed the production schedule for the Solvay Containerboard mill. He ensured seamless operations and adherence to production targets, resulting in significant paper production. Patharkar successfully improved production efficiency across all machines, he also obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification through a root cause analysis project, leading to substantial improvements in operational effectiveness.
His experience as a graduate engineer at TATA Technologies equipped him with valuable skills in implementing manufacturing execution systems. Patharkar spearheaded the development of cross-platform web applications and innovative solutions for equipment supervision in production plants. Leveraging Ignition SCADA, he oversaw the testing and development of applications based on manufacturing and assembly, improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) to enhance production efficiency.
As a manufacturing intern, Patharkar applied DMAIC (Six Sigma) methodology while manufacturing a high-speed centrifugal oil filtration system, while also manufacturing superior prototypes and conducting rigorous experimental validations, achieving a significant increase in machine cleaning efficiency.
These diverse experiences have equipped Patharkar with a robust skill set and invaluable insights into manufacturing, production planning, and process optimization, making him a valuable asset to any organization.
